The challenge and what we did
For patients, waiting for a report is the hardest part of a diagnostic journey. We developed a mobile application so patients could quickly download their findings and schedule tests, and created the official website where clients can log in to view invoices and other information.
The platform work extended into cloud: migrating on-premises infrastructure to AWS to improve performance, uptime and compliance, with managed services that keep clinical operations running predictably.
Because health data is involved, access controls, encryption and auditability were part of the design from the first release.
